beta 4 emails have arrived !!! typo in email

Thank you for signing up for the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test on Windows PC!

The final beta test will kick off on Monday 16 August 2013 at 9:00 GMT and last until Friday 19 August 2013 at 9:00 GMT.

    Pretty sure originally beta 4 was suppose to start on the 17th with those in beta phase 3 starting the 16th.

    i start 16th because i been in every beta

     

    my guess is if you wasnt in beta 3 your email will say 17th instead

     

    i just thought it was funny that they said 16th was monday and the 19th was friday lol, its wrong way around

    if you were in phase 3, you start on the 16th on which is Friday.

    Is there still anyway for someone to get into beta 4 right now? Or I should ask is there still anyway to get an invite from them to join beta 4?

    Phase 4 is Open so I would assume anyone can get in as long as you create an account. I'm having problems with my old account showing a status of "Cancelled" (Guess this is why I never got an invite for Beta Testing) =P. But when I log in it shows that FF 14 is still active from my old 1.0 account. <.<

    Anywho, tech support gave me this link to download client direct for now so that everything will be cleared up so I can play in Phase 4 this weekend. I won't be able to actually download until Thursday though, according to the support e-mail.

    Yes but we have to wait for them to re-open beta signups, then DL the client and all that good stuff.

    If you had not registered for beta before July 31 you may not get into open beta. They said they would open up registration on the 17th but they never said you would get in. My guess its depends on SE needs. At this point if you are not registered for beta my guess is its a long shot to get in this weekend.

    I was in Phase 3 for about a week, never got an email for Phase 4.

    OPEN means OPEN .. if EQN officially announce an open beta date, i'll be pissed if I can't play

    Seen to many open beta over the past few years that were not really open beta. SE said you could register on the 17th, not you could get in on the 17th. We will see. My guess is we gona see lots of people on this forum asking why they cant get in =-)

    No... just sucks when you expect something and dont get it. I just keep saying there is no guarantee. When you closed registration 2 weeks ago its unlikely everyone is going to get in that wants in, thats it.

    No email for me either and I was in phase 3. Are we supposed to use to same key they gave us for phase 3?

    "For those who have registered a beta code by Tuesday, July 30th, 2013 9:59p.m. (PDT), you will automatically be accepted to participate in Beta Test phase 4 (final Beta Test). If you have not yet registered a beta code, please make sure to complete the registration process before the above date."

    I personally got a PC code on about July 23rd or so and I registered that, so I figure that's it.

    Same here. I ordered from GMG and entered my email to be notified of early access. It should be fine, no need for me to worry I hope.

    Looks like you and I are in the same boat. I was worried about not receiving an email after I was in phase 3, but it looks like at least 3 of us in this thread had the same thing happen - I'm guessing it's just that only non-phase 3 people got this email.
