Issues with pre order purchase?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Anyone having issues purchasing the digital download off of the main site? Receiving when submitting payment.

    I'm having an issue with getting my pre-order code.  I pre-ordered from Gamestop and they said I would get the pre-order code in an email in 3 business days.  I've called them a couple of times.  They told me to call one more time tomorrow to escalate, and if that doesn't work and I don't get it by Friday then I won't be able to do the headstart cuz it means they are out of codes.

     

    I really thought if you pre-order anywhere you are guaranteed to get a headstart code but the Gamestop customer service said they can run out of codes.  Not sure if this happens at other vendors.  Good luck with your issue buddy.  What site/web address were you using to purchase the game?  Tell me so I know to stay away from it hehe.

    Anyone know a site that still has pre-order headstart codes?  I may ask for a refund from gamestop hehe.

    I pre ordered from Amazon on 8/9 and got a code instantly ;)

    I ordered it from Square-Enix on the 6th. I still have the order confirmation,but they seem to have refunded my credit card. I hope this wont cause any problems. The charge is no longer on my billing statement... anybody have any idea what this might mean?  I do still have the order number and product code that came in my order confirmation email though.

    If it helps at all, Amazon isnt charging my card until the game is released. Maybe Square-Enix is doing the samething? Just an idea

    I pre ordered my CE copy from GMG last week with a 25% off discount code, I got my key in the mail instantly.

     

    Apparently people are having trouble with their orders from that site now, but no complaints from me, got 25% off and instant code, really doesn't get much better then that.

     

    Might be worth checking out, but as I said, people are reporting problems now and I don't want to get you into another headache.
