New Patch and Scope of the Beta notes are up on their beta tester site for those who have access to it.

Here is just a taste of what I found interesting (there were like five posts).

In addition to two new areas (also a new zone added to an existing area) and one housing zone for testing (two with held for testing).

It has a lot of system changes and additions (even some new emotes and emotes on chocobo back), so make sure to read both to see what needs testing and what to expect.

Also, while we're able to talk about Beta and what's changed, we still aren't able to post videos from what I've heard.  This may change in the coming days with an official announcement.
Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

This is great news. I felt the one thing this game was missing was true weather effects, that and moon phases.

Also, I hope this goes without saying but do not stream yourself playing the game. There was a post on the sub reddit from someone advertising his stream and asking others to post their streams as well.

If you can't post videos it should go without saying you cannot stream, just a heads up for all :D

These were actually the most interesting/unexpected points for me:

-Players receive a bonus for completing a Guildhest without being incapacitated.

-The whole party receives bonus exp when completing a dungeon if any member of the group is doing it for the first time.

-You unlock bonus exp for all classes just by unlocking one other class (which can be done at level 10 - before it seemed like we would have to get a class to 50 to get this bonus).

I'm actually kind of worried about the first one - I get why they did it (guildhests are for learning the game and such, and if you died, you may not have learned that well), but this would seem to but some serious community pressure on healers. In beta phase 3, many groups would play stupidly and expect the healer to pick up the slack in these scenarios, I can only imagine how much hate healers will get for letting people die if those people know they are losing bonus xp for it...this will be one of the ways the community in this game is tested I guess...
