I am very surprised that this forum does not have any information about the open beta this weekend. It would be amazing if one of the more informed players could answers some questions for us noobs.
Can I access the open beta without preordering?
If I preorder, can I get into the open beta tonight?
Where do I get the download link for the open beta?

Yea I really would like to know this too, I was under the impressionthat that open beta was open to the public like the first one was... but If I have to pre-order I defiantly want to do it now..
And to add a question: Why is the PS3 version $10 more expensive than the PC version -.-

3. You should be able to apply for the beta starting on the 17th, after you are accepted they will send you a code and a d/l link i think.

- yes, on 17th they open registrations for public
If I preorder, can I get into the open beta tonight?
- no, it will get you only early access, they start sending codes on 20th (official site purchase)

- previous beta testers can play on 16th already
- those who met the deadline of registration for open beta can play on 16th - it ended in July
- the rest is fucked and has to wait and will not be able to even download the game

I don't know who exactly can and can't play it, but here's where you can download the client:

It's probably going to have you make an account first if you don't have one yet.

The most likely answer to this would be licensing money for Sony since, well, it's for their console. I would say higher prices for console games compared to getting the game for the PC is rather common for this very reason.

I already have early access via ps3 - haven't bought the disk yet because I'm curious about one thing - once the disk is purchased do I have to wait for the actual copy to be able to continue after early access/launch or will there be a digital link to be able to continue playing/just adding a code to continue? - This question is only referring to ps3 as pc already has a digital option
