This is a pain in the butt

in Final Fantasy XIV

I purchased FF14 from the main site. Got my conformation code and Key. It tells you to jump through hoops with completing registration. A few e-mails sending you all over the net. On one of the pages on the Square Enix site you can view your profile and says " Registered games : 0 ". enter 18 digit code it has, code invalid.

Other pages that say register here in the e-mails are dead sites.

I'm not really expecting anyone to follow all this, in fact I can't even follow the trail they send you on..But I am saying Squire Enix is all over the place and I'm not sure what I'm even registered for !!!!!

    It seems that the mess going from 1.0 to ARR is affecting everyone.  I was a 1.0 player, got beta, but wanted early access too, so bought a new game.  I have absolutely no idea when/how/if I'll actually get into early access.  I'm just hoping I figure it out between now and next week!

    I'm with you on this, I hope it takes care of it self close to play time.

     

    It may be as easy as the night before you get an e-mail "enter code here and download the game"....Then again maybe not :(

    One thing that definitely hasn't changed from FFXIV 1.0 to ARR is that they have the absolute worst signup process in all of MMO gaming.

    The pre-order/early access codes can't be registered yet. You won't be able to register them until after the open beta.

    People talking about codes at the moment are referring to the Phase 4 beta codes that let them in tomorrow, instead of waiting until Saturday for the official start of open beta.

    I got my confirmation email as well, preordered from the Square Enix site.  Now the charge doesn't appear on my bank account and code currently shows invalid.  Currently waiting in queue for their "chat support."

    I'm afraid to even check my bank charges cause that will send me off on another tail spin !
