But the game is dying right? AMIRIGHT? This will get interesting... Good for them though. I got bored of it but can't wait until they release the new skills and trait rework.
Seriously?! Put in those terms it looks pretty sad. There must be a better way to summarize one year's accomplishments other than some new skins, achievements and a princess to the rescue.
My 2 c.
p.s. Something maybe like: X new races added , X new classes added, lev cap raised by X.

Well in all fairness it has only been one year and this is what they have added without an expansion. I am not sure how it looks sad to you especially since you left out a majority of the added content (maybe you didn't pan the picture to the right?) but we can just agree to disagree. What they have added is more than other games do in a year. Maybe some of us should analyze this from what they have accomplished rather than what we THINK they should have accomplished before judging their progress. Some don't like the game and some have moved on, but I give them credit for the effort they have put in.

These aren't the droids you're looking fer. The GW2 audience does not want vertical progression. The moment they added ascended gear people freaked out. The very purpose of this game is to not have that. They added more game play, dungeons, puzzles, areas, a lot of stuff, not sure why it has to be specific stuff.
I'm sure there are people who would rather have new races...but there are people that would rather have Fractals...so that's really nitpicking.

What's sad is if the company was pressured to put in all those things you said in under a year after they launched a game they needed ~5 years to make.
As it stands, they don't need to add those things yet. They still have much ground to cover on their base release.
I kind of have to laugh at that... "year 1" then they carefully say "3million as of january" lol... that's a sign of weakness. If that was an official infograph it would be very suspicious that they wouldn't be proud of the actual real number as of 1 year from launch.

I agree that that is curious. Colin had stated that they were close to releasing another sales milestone once they've hit a specific target that they've chosen so we'll have to wait and see on that. I suspect that the one year anniversary of the game may come with more data.
It is very easy to flaunt numbers of B2P MMO when players don't have to commit on basis of monthly fee. In P2P MMOS atleast you know the drop or increase on basis of how many subscribers are still paying or left.

They have said in interviews they will be adding new weapons just the other things list for later this year where needed more right now. As for this flyer even being fan made says alot for what the game has done in one year compared to most mmo's. I am excited next week new content and am almost ready still need to finish the Queen's Gauntlet sense I did not know it was above the other thing in Divenitys Reach but its not super easy those gauntlet guys are tough.

That's the only thing that would bring me back to GW2.
You're in luck then. That was brought up in their plan for the next year.
Actually this year, before the end of the year we'll have new skills and traits as well as a new means to acquire them.
By the next year I was referring to August onwards of course.
Sweeet! They need to continually add new abilities to gather like in GW1. New weapons would be great too. Crossbow, Halberd, Sabre, Etc.

I hope they never raise the level cap.
Anyway, it's the only mmo that I can currently play nowadays.

This isn't an official infograph, for those who are wondering.
It's just fans making it. That's why they have '3 million as of January', because that was the last officially released number.
Ah, gotcha... Really? Wow, they did a nice job. ANet's still hiring for GW2... I'd be attaching that to a resume.

Yeah, I was reading the Reddit thread, two guys made it, one did the graphical stuff and the other pulled up and collated all the figures.
Like the falling guy graphic? That's from the cover of Myst, apparently. So that would be a nono for an official graphic.
