The F2P crowd has invaded, at least for free open beta

We discussed this in an earlier thread, about once the game was released, how the forum with this game would get flooded with all kinds of negative posts. And we also talked about how, up to this point, the crowd had been polite and positive. I attributed this to the
1. P2P aspect
2. PvE centered game
Well guys, we only gotta put up with the F2P riff raff at least until the open beta is over. Once the open beta ends, the F2P riff raff will go back to their free games, and we can get back to our P2P only circle of peeps. So, just hang in there guys, we don't gotta wait much longer until open beta is over and this crowd leaves us.
EDIT: Just ignore the super sarcastic, and negative posts you are seeing and don't reply to them. This is what the F2P guys want. They hop from F2P game and just rag on every single game that comes out. If they have to pay money though, they won't bother to even post here.

I agree with you except on the last point.
I think they'll continue to post due to the posting still being free.
Due to player 'churn' all games have to attract more players.
And even if you don't like it, a free play period or other form of free trial is an accepted way of doing that.
If you don't like it, don't make a new character or otherwise hang out around newb areas during these times.
By the way, your post sounds elitist, rather than a post from someone that loves the game and wants to see it grow and succeed, but that's just what it seemed like to me. (I have lots of experience intending to make things sound one way, and it be taken another. Fortunately nobody has tried to shoot me for those yet. )

I'd also point out many of the uncivil posts are coming from those same people, because some people do not like what they're seeing in OB. Which is a ridiculous reason to become uncivil.

i agree here. the op does sound 'Elitist' but you always read this shit when a goes goes from closed to open beta. the crowd who was in closed think they are better then the rest and that only there opinions should count. welcome to reality op and get used to it. your tears are tasty
I haven't been in the closed beta. I haven't even played the game yet. I'm still downloading it. Yet another assumption and reply that I'm sure you had pre-loaded from all the other mmo's that you've invaded like a locust, devoured, trolled and then flew away from after 1-2 days.
Though I wish I had been in the closed beta. I've been following this forum a while. The threads before open beta were fine and polite. There wasn't much sarcasm, snarkiness, or people saying your tears taste good or any stupid crap. Now once open beta starts we get people in here saying ridiculous crap.
Also, what tears? How am I crying? I made a comparison of what this forum was like before open beta and after. And it has matched up well with what was predicted in another thread. How is this related to QQ. So if its not QQ, what are you tasting? Well, anyway your reply was as well thought as I would suspect possible from a F2P content locust.
How am I being elite? I haven't even played the game yet. I guess you could say I'm a wannabe sociology major or something I guess, but elite? Cuz I have 15 bucks a month that I wanna spend? 15 bucks doesn't make me appear elite. I think its more likely that F2P players swarm (like locusts), every game, devour and trash it, then move on.

Browsing forums i always get the idea that negativity just thrives, unless It's strictly forbidden for some reason, It's just what people feed on.. Kind of odd.. It's the same with the news.
we'll all find a nice community sooner or later.
One can only hope... Eve has an excellent community, to bad the game bores me to tears, I like pve a little more than pvp so pvp centric games don't tend to hold me.
To the Op after reading your post I think I am going to wait until after the first month to play this game, that should unload a little more of the riff raff, lol.

I'm only a level 6 but I'm getting the old school feeling from this game, and I'm starting to really like it after I moved my UI all around !

Nope... many of us have paid money to play this game and waiting to pay more money so the cry babies wont be able to play this game. If you dont plan to play the game and hate it, stop logging in and crying about it on the forums. I paid money cuse I like this game and I cant log in lol. Its Irksome.
