i picked rouge, simply because of stealth and assasination.
I had to pick Paladin cause rouge is a colour not a class
I am definitely gonna play a rogue at some point though...they are really fun to play in DDO.

I see not many of you played online PnP
So you dont know much about Rouges or Palidans
They are way better than just your ol' plain rogue and paliadin - they are like turbo versions
Although I must say Schorcerer is appealing aswell

With the level 10 cap, the combat/magic hybrid classes don't really come into their own until pretty late in the game. You know a lot of non-DnD PnP players are going to be more than a little confused when they find their level one Paladin isn't really any different than a Fighter.

Both Palidan and Rouge are spell errors. Often ecountered in online PnP community....
