Clarification for V1.0 Registering Early access Please!

XaradasXaradas Member Posts: 37

Just for clarification since I have been roaming google trying to find the answer to this.

Old v1.0 people who want early access A: Need a early access code for the PS3 Version ( since we all already own the PC version and it wont let you register EA to something you already own) and when you register the PS3 EA code it will allow you to play EA on PC as well? Sorry of this is a stupid question, just want clarification=P

That is what I'm trying to figure out, I was told that if you have a v1.0 the PC early access code will not work. So does that mean if we buy a PS3 Access code and tie it to the same account as our PC will our PC get EA as well?

1.0 players do not get early access but if you buy another copy of the game and get the early access code you can apply it to your 1.0 account. You can also sell the copy of the game you bought or as some have said they have done, just return it.

Most people are, I think its not working right now. I keep getting the error "There was a problem. Please try again later"

Even though you get the error the code still gets registered, go to the top right corner and open your profile to see if the game has been added.

Question remains, does the PS3 EA code applied to a v1.0 allow you to do EA on your PC.

At this moment any code that gets registered seems to be registered as the pc version, even the PS3 codes show up as PC.

So my guess is that it really does not matter at all. you register a code you get early access.

Ofcourse i don't have any proof, but if you check comments when you go to your profile and click the game you can see comments from other people that seem to say the same thing.

afaik which system you play on doesn't effect your account at all, as you can play the same character on pc/ps3. So not sure why it would matter which one your EA code is for, as they don't know which system you're logged in through.

You sir make a very valid point! Now I just have to wait until the service is working again, tried to register my code but didn't work=P Got the error and the services never refreshed.
