in Final Fantasy XIV

I'm aware of the early access registration page not currently working. I'm receiving the same "Please try again later" error as most others, but I can't even get on the main site.

na.finalfantasyxiv.com

Says cannot connect every time I try and go on. Can anyone else get on the main site? I guess we should be used to this crap by now, usually happens during every MMO release. Still, quite irritating. I'm leaving for college Thursday morning and would have like to have had the game downloaded prior to leaving.

    I just logged into the main site - and also went to "my profile" to see FFXIV registered. Keep trying. 

     

    My only question is - the client. Is it the same client i used for open beta? Because it says it's down due to maint. also.

    its the same client from open beta,

    we still need to dowenload 12gb or so though so i really hope they get a move on with the launcher..

    Honestly, the game is great but the communication on launch and pre order stuff is ridiculously bad.

    Every mmo seems to make the same mistakes too..

    how hard is it to make a few posts on their own site about all this stuff :P

    It seems like the EU site is up, but I can't connect to either the main NA FF-ARR website or even the NA Square Enix website. Guess I'll just try later tonight.
