Hello, I am a RPG game lover, I love the old school RPG up to modern day RPG's like Final Fantasy XIV. I started my gaming back on the commodore 64. I have since played games like Dragon Warrior when it first hit the Nintendo, I started playing everquest online adventures when it hit the ps2, then played FFXI on and off till now, while playing other mmo on computer, you name it I probably have/had a max character on it. I hope to play FFXIV arr for the next ten years, depending on how long linkshells last in game. I am a long term die hard type player that loves both casual during downtimes of not raiding and raiding at any chance I can get.
What kind of guild I'm looking for. I want a both casual and raiding top end type linkshell. One that can do both, have fun and help each other on progression and also gear everyone up at raid time. A linkshell leader that is in control of their emotions when dealing with situations, and are not unrefined. I will stay with a linkshell until it completely falls apart. I will help others even if they don't return the favor, because I know building a strong guild is important even if no ones trying. I will expect not to be booted on some emotional whim of a leader, and I really want good old school RPG players in leadership, the kind that are not aggressive nonpersonal type of person who just wants members to help them get what they want, and theres a lot of that going around. Just have need a leader that really loves RPG games, mmo or not, Thank you very much.
Send me a message if you want me, I'll fill out an application and hopefully we can be friends for the next generation of Final Fantasy.

About the GM
It is my belief that in order for a group to function as a single unit effectively, you must have people that are willing to put aside their differences and act in unison for the betterment of all. A leader is needed, whose vision of what the guild should be is aligned with the members of the Legion. Having served in the United States Navy, I have seen teamwork close at hand. Multiple people from varied backgrounds working together to achieve a common goal. Differences are put aside, and all focus on the task at hand.
I have been everything from the lowly Seaman Recruit to a Second Class Petty Officer standing tech control of a guided missle cruiser deployed in the Persian Gulf. I have cleaned the head, I have tasked others with cleaning the head. I have been a follower, as well as a leader. I would never ask anyone that I lead in game or out to do anything that I am unwilling to do myself. All jobs and tasks, no matter how low or how high are important for the continued success of the Legion.
Functioning as a single unit requires teamwork. Teamwork on rare occasions just happens naturally. Other times it is something that must be trained and worked towards like a goal. There are those who fit into the teamwork mold more easily than others. Practice makes perfect however, and with time and patience even the most diverse group can come together as one.
I consider myself politically incorrect. Why do I say this? Because I am not a bleeding heart who takes offense easily. I tell dirty jokes, I can laugh at pretty much anything. At times I use foul language. I tend to pick at and jab those that I like. Don't sweat it! This just means I like you! I am open to people making jabs at me as well. If you wear your feelings on your sleeves, joining Black Legion is probably not a good idea. I do not tolerate whining, drama, or foolishness of any sort.
In my opinion, it is most important that Legion members are having a good time together. Progressions is secondary, and will come naturally to those who have a good time together. I look for people who compliment our existing members.
History of Black Legion
Honestly, it all came to me in November of 2004. A friend of mine who was playing World of Warcraft at the time told me I should give it a try, it was a great game he said. So I purchased the game. I fiddled around with a bunch of classes and I was pretty much indifferent to them all. I asked my friend what he thought I should play. His response..."Play a Priest!" With that, I was relegated to the life of a healer.
After a couple of weeks I decided it was time to try out this "guild" thing. So I discussed it with my friends, and we decided on the name Ebon Arcanum. Ebon Arcanum ended up being one of the top ten largest Horde guilds ever in World of Warcraft. Our guild roster stopped counting at five hundred members. We had two raid groups consisting of forty people each clearing Molten Core every week. This was when Molten Core was the entirety of end game. We may not have held any server firsts, but we were very competitive.
After a few years, we moved from World of Warcraft to Lord of the Rings Online. There we changed our name to "The Deephallow Brewer's" to keep in line with the Middle Earth theme. In LotRO we were one of the premier guilds on our server. Focusing on having fun more than progression.
Warhammer Online followed our outing in Lord of the Rings Online. We founded our guild as Nex Morbus, a destruction based guild. Once again, we were one of the top guilds on our server in regards to pvp and progression. Warhammer is where I really got my taste for PvP. From this point on, I would never play solely PvE again. All future iterations of Black Legion were to be formed on PvP servers.
After Warhammer Online we moved to Rift. We were founded as X Legion. We had originally decided on 10th Legion named for the 10th Roman Legion, however we couldnt use 10 in our guild name. So we settled on X Legion. Again, we were one of the premier guilds on our server participating in PvP and PvE. Numerous times we would wreck Guardian guilds...even while they were trying to down World Bosses. No holds barred.
Star Wars the Old Republic was next on our list of games. We used X Legion again seeing as how we liked the name immensely. Par for the course, we were very competitive in PvP and PvE.
TERA was the next game to lure us in. In Tera, we were formed under the name Black Legion. Black Legion's participation in TERA was brief in anticipation for Guild Wars 2. However, during our brief stint in TERA we were elected to the Vanarchy of Essenia, and known for causing chaos on our server. We wrecked people during Nexus events, we hunted people down on a regular basis. It was during TERA that we adopted the Chaos Star as our official guild symbol.

FAQ
Is Black Legion a multi-gaming guild? Not at all, we have played numerous games in the past, however we focus on one game at a time.
Do you remove members from the guild often? It is in the best interests as a guild to retain our players, while also maintaining high expectations for participation. Members are removed if they break any of our rules or are inactive for longer than 30 days without letting us know.
Will Recruitment and applications be open over the long-term? No. We have a target roster size alongside targets for each profession.
Who should I contact with additional questions before applying? OurTS3 server is public and accessible on our homepage and here as well. Simply log in and talk to an officer.
