Pre order question

farorefarore Member UncommonPosts: 89
M original 1.0 account is a CE account but is not a legacy. From what i gather i dont have to buy the game for pc but i wont have early access ethier. What i would like to do is pre order the ps3 version. What i want to happen is use my pre order code and be able to have early access on both ps3 and pc, i am just not sure if that is how its gonna work or not.

I think you have it right actually, but maybe someone with more knowledge of it can confirm.

I would have done it already but when i added the code for the ps3 beta it didnt make my 1.0 account a ps3 account along with pc. What it did was add a brand new account that wasnt tied to my original one, so i didnt have my legacy character and i couldnt use it to play on pc. It seems square enix accounst are more like battle.net accounts in that when ever you add a key it just makes a new account. There system is badly in need of some fixing if you ask me.

So you weren't able to add your PS3 Early Access to your 1.0 PC account? That's really a shame because according to their FAQ, you can do that and actually get the 30 days that comes with the PS3 version.

That's what I could find about it. It seems to say you can just add a ps3 account to your PC one form 1.0. Take a look at it.

No i wasnt able to add my ps3 BETA key to it. When i did it just added a new service under my account. Thats why i am asking if i pre order the ps3 version can i add the pre order to my account and not have it make a new service. Right now  under my SE account i have 2 things listed under services Final Fantasy XIV 1 witch is my 1.0 CE account and Final Fantasy XIV 2 witch was the ps3 beta account
