Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn: New Video & PAX Launch Party

The Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn relaunch is moving into high gear. First off the bat, the team has released a new video that features some pretty impressive and frightening looking monsters. Additionally, PAX Prime will see a big launch-day gala from August 30-September 1st with game play sessions, developer autograph sessions and more.

Scheduled from August 30 – September 1, the event will feature opening remarks from the game’s development team, including Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida, Sound Director Masayoshi Soken and Localization Lead Michael-Christopher Koji Fox. Following the presentation, members of the development team will host a special autograph session for fans. Attendees are also invited to hands-on gameplay sessions where they can experience the game’s battle components and compete for prizes. Upon entrance to the event, attendees will be entered into a swag raffle drawing; winners will be announced via Twitter (@FF_XIV_EN).

    seems all primal fights are aoe avoid.

    ^ I highly doubt it'll be that simple. Each primal is different. This isn't GW2 thank god, it's close but far enough away in the right places. PAX Primals Unleashed!!

    oh and at about 45 seconds where the random bard walks up to the fight and dies instantly. i don't think that had anything to do with AoE red rings avoid - he had no indication as i could see of instant death. SICK!

    oh and garuda scene. coolest thing ever.

    It would be funny if the party at launch day is cut short by error 3102
