how do you summon your pet dragon

i need to know this fro a friend in the game

    Hit the L key put a point in mounts by using the + symbol.  then a drafon icon should appear on your hotkey bar.  click it and it summons your dragon.  Right click your dragon to mount it.

    If I recall it had to do with viewing my skill tree and putting a point into it.

    Then I had a skill tree begin to unfold.

    Not sure how far I'm pressing the NDA's now.

    it's no longer covered by an NDA if it is made public by the other party. pioneers want to know how to use their abilities that they have direct access to. it's therefore public knowledge and you can tell us. i am a pioneer. i have the right to know how my abilities work. if Farlan is still enforcing an NDA, they are not worth the energy that went into typing this sentence.
