    Yeah my beta character shows up, but when I select him and hit save changes, it just reloads the page as if I didn't pick one.

    Can't even go back to viewing the forums while logged in since it keeps sending me back to the same character selection page.

    Did you click on the star right  by your character's avatar?

    Yeah I'm able to view and post using a P4 character as my "main."

    I tried to start a thread and it said my character wasn't high level enough, even though she's level 20, the highest anyone could have gotten in the beta.

    they have rules like if ur character is level 1-20 something, from 20-45 something. and then from 45-50 something else :P. i am too lazy to check now but you get the idea. I think it is anti-troll system lol

    Haha, that's cool actually. But only if there is a place for lvl 1s to actually post, if they are blocked from posting anything that's a bit dumb.

     

    Edit* Taking a look at the restrictions, this is kinda a bit too restrictive. Max lvl characters can only post 20 posts a day, and can't post more than once every 15 minutes. Jeez. I guess the forums were not made with the intention of people hanging out.

    Yeah, there's a few thread that don't have limits, mainly new player help and tech support forums.  But it's still pretty restrictive everywhere else, I hope it opens up more or at least allows max levels to post unrestricted at some point. Otherwise I wouldn't expect it to be the best place for people to hang out when not playing.

    The have draconian restrictions on posting, 3 posts per day unless you are a level 50 legacy then you get like 10 iirc.

    Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

    Thanks.  As with most things SQEN and website - not intuitive at all.  Clunky and lame as usual.  I just figured their stuff wasn't working since...so far...that's often the case.
