i hear of ppl that have played the game today yet i have tried periodicly all day and have yet to make it to the character creation screen... i keep getting disconnected.
anyone know a way past this? thx!

depend what the problem was.
alot of people had an issue logging in, which there was a fix for. check lower in this forum see if its your problem.
there is also issues of getting booted. i got to play for a decent ammount of time but i did suffer from random disconects too.
ive had the same problem since ive started trying...i get the you have been disconnected after the splash screen every time and have never made it further. the fix you were talking about was to open up ports in anti-virus softwear and when i disabled all of my anti-virus softwear nothing changed so it could be the network im on which i can not change. so guess i cant play the game, kinda sucks. oh well time to list my key on ebay...
