I had a friend try to start a new toon on the server called leviathan where I rolled and they said they couldn’t make a toon because it was "full". This was a couple hours before the NA server maintenance.
Sounds like it is a popular server. I can say that early today, right when servers went live, there were so many people in lvl 8sh area that I could hardly complete kill quests.
Does anyone know if it is locked to new toons due to server population? Will they lift the restriction sometime?
Not sure if I should re-roll on a different server or not. I don’t like it crowded like this, but also don’t want a SWTOR experience where one month into the game I am stuck on a dead server and they don’t realm condense for 2 months.
Advice anyone?

I really do not feel sorry for those who "MUST PLAY NOW".
It's why I'm waiting until the 27th to play. Hoping the game is stable by then.
Good luck in your endeavors thou.

I said nothing about "must play now".
I simply said that my friend cant get on the same server as me and was seeking advice on whether or not I should re-roll on a less populated server.
I didn't even mention the fact that I can't get on right now!
All of the servers are loaded and none of them have some sort of established community (other than the legacy ones at least) so pick whichever one will let you play on it.
The SWTOR problem came from EA opening a comical amount of new servers because people were dealing with queues.
agreed.... need to just be patient. Think that was what Ivy meant as well.
thanks for input.
