Have they said anything about when NA server's coming back up?

  They've been up for a little over an hour now.

   

  Though the duty finder is still broken.

  Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.
  

  
  

  Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

  I've been checking on that for hours now and i have no clue. I had stuff to do all day anyways, so it was convenient when the server went down because it got me to get going on all my task but im sure this is rather inconvenient for most. Hope we get some kind of update at least sooner than later.

  The duty finder is still broken, so the game is fairly unplayable due to the large number of story line quests and class quests that are instanced, and how these are required as "gates" to advance your character (and even to unlock travel to other cities areas).  You can grind, and you can harvest or craft in the crafts/harvesting that your home city has, but once you run out of instanced quests, you're facing a brick wall at the moment.

   

  My guess is that they are trying to optimize the servers that handle the duty finder to accommodate the heavy load, and that it isn't working, pretty much at all.

   

  EDIT:  Yep.  The instance network server can't handle the load.   They just posted this a few minutes ago on the Lodestone news tab:

   

  For the issue with the server in charge of connecting players to the instances, we are still experiencing heavy traffic and are working on a solution to improve the server.

  what's really grinding my gears is at level 11, all conjurers look alike. I hope this changes further down the line.

   

  I played conjurer until level 20 in phase 4 and I think it's just because of the easy gear you get from the story quests. I found other options if you buy from vendors or craft your gear, but people just haven't explored those options much since it's so new. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
