in Final Fantasy XIV

I think SE should just add 3 days or so to the END of the game to make up for the beta 4 and pre-release problem.  So, if they were going to shut down servers on... say aug 10th, 2027... they would instead shut them down aug 13th, 2027.

At least that way I wouldnt feel like I am getting ripped off.  Assuming they made those last 3 days free for everyone that pre-ordered of course.

Just hope they dont have to tack on any more days!

    What's to make right? You are playing a beta until release day.

    Oops sorry. Most MMOs release as betas, so you paid to play an alpha. My bad.

    SE contacted me and stated that they would NOT be adding 3 days onto the end of the game.  They said there are 12 players happily playing on each NA server.  So everything is working perfectly!

    Erm...I think tacking on those 3 extra free days to the end of the 30 day free period for all the people that preordered would be more appropriate and beneficial...

    That would work, but I don't think anyone who actually pre-ordered the game will still be playing it in 2027 =(

    agreed.  but if they wanted more time, I wish they would ask for it.  

    Unless I am mistaken, they are leading us to believe that things are fine and they are just limiting logins.  So we are free to keep trying to log in like a lottery or something.  If they need time, I wish they would just post it so we can know when we can expect to play next.  

    Oh well.  I know they have a difficult job.  And although a bit upsetting, I dont have a problem waiting to play their game.

    they can't make it right, there is nothing too give anyone that equates to any sort of monetary value because the game is sub based with no cash shop. They shot there self in the foot with the short open beta thinking that a longer one would be like giving away a free trial and there game was too good for that. There arrogance is going to cost them untold loss of subscribers that would have been avoided with a longer free trial or open beta. just my 2 cents
