    Even though I'm on 2 week vacation. I'm to tired to stay up any longer. Might try again in the morning. Hopefully they really sort this problem out. Its been a real killer for my first weekend.

    They need to just shut down the damn game if they're gonna keep doing this..say "come back in a few weeks, we'll give you two months free, sorry for the mistake"

    They wouldn't be able to fix anything if they don't have server load. So no, not the best idea. Nor are they gonna give 2 months for having 2 days of regular launch issues.

    up and full, ...why no queue lately? I understand wanting to control pop by keeping new people/accounts off of a full server, but if I already have an existing character on one, then let me play it!

    edit-queue is back  :) (wasn't 5 mins ago), and i was able to log into my server for the first time today (sun.) Hopefully this will still be true tomorrow once the player log-in onslaught begins again during peak times.

    At this point they are just trying to fix the server load, so they dropped the queue to help with congestion. If it's too congested the data is useless.

    Still no queue, and still world full. I'd be a liar if I said this wasn't starting to become annoying.

    I'm not complaining about having to wait, but this no queue thing is a bit ridiculous. Also the fact that I get kicked back to the start menu every time I try to log on.

    I had a queue when I logged in.  Got in two minutes later.  Too tired to play much more though.

    as of 22:57 PDT, 1017 error trying to access NA world (ultros) with no queue...

    was really hoping all you east coasters/EUers went to bed so I could play :-P

    A weird guide for those who can't get in -

    " The goal is to get on the wait list 'que' "

    Below are the list of errors I ran into and what to do:

    "Can't access NA/EU servers" - Exit the entire game and relog back in. Repeat this till the servers show or character shows.

    "Servers are full, try again" - Keep clicking start over and over and over till you get to the que line. If you get the first error, then exit game and start again.

     

    That is it. The chance of getting to the que line is random. My wife got to it on her 3rd try. It took me 2 hours before I got through earlier today. It is all about persistence.

    Strange but I did not have a single issue with logging in and I have been playing since Saturday morning CST . Other than the periods right before and during "emergency maintenance" I have been playing non stop all weekend. The only problem I saw was some of the instanced quests were not working.

     

    I did notice you don't get kicked off for going afk.  I once left the game running while a 5 minute break turned into  5-6 hours and did not get booted. I noticed a lot of other afkers  standing around for hours

     

    If they booted the afkers, maybe some of those in queue could get in.
