People trafficking - WTH

in Final Fantasy XIV

It seems like every single plot of every mission somehow ends up ultimately being about people trafficking.  Ok we get it, bad guys in Eorzea like to people traffick!  Ok enough with it already.  haha.  Every mission ends up being about people disappearing, well I wonder why? could it be they are being trafficked?

 

For once in this game I'd like them to be disappearing because they are getting cooked or eaten by a monster.  I get the people trafficking thing is a main plot here but sheesh, man the devs went nuts. hahaha

    Erm...I think you missed the point about WHY people were disappearing.
