What race do you consider a must have ( and playable) for EQN

    So that I can make a crafter named:   Tinker and I want golden dust to shower down when I flap my wings.

     

    Maybe not but I actually liked them in EQ2...  *edit* I probably would have one as an alt actually and I dunno why that's the race I'd pick... I just would.   Likely because the race my "main" will be is already in game... (unless the lion king was just for show and tell that is.)

    I went with barbarian because that's the first race I ever played, but in a close second would be ogres.

    dwarf human elf and dark elf were already confirmed playable

    The playable races are Dwarf, Human, Ogre, Elf, Dark Elf and Kerran.

    i very much rather have an orc than an ogre... at leat the ogre seems to look a lot more like an orc now

    I vote Gnome because the Barbarian is a class/profession I think not a race(?!) and because I think Halflings will be substituted by Kobolds! (maybe)...

    Ratonga.  And i don't think "Fey" is a real race either in EQ or EQ2.  Perhaps you mean either "Fae" or "Fairy" (one is a playable EQ2 race and the other an NPC eq2 race, not sure about EQ1)

    Here an intresting concept what if your server had to unlock certain classes by completing an event on the server for examples you dont even know if gnomes exsist until you venture to faydwer and somone opens up a cave leaving to steamfront mountains which is where u discover the gnomes and they unlock the ability for everyone to mkae gnome characters now or somthing along those lines.

    Barbarian is a core race in EQ/EQ2. No word if they've made a barbarian class in EQN or race. Doubtful Kobolds will be a race as they were the little guys getting ran over in the demo video. They don't seem like a substantial race by themselves, never know though.

         What would be a real shame, is playing a game where everyone is playing a Zoo animal and humanoids are the minority.. WTF?  That isn't the EQ I remember, and is that the current LORE of the game as well.? I'm waiting for DG to make the big game breaking announcement.. EQN is going to introduce the first time ever new race.. "The Treant"  Taunting is out, but now you can play a tank that "roots" everything around them.. lmaooooo
