There are quite a few oceanic players going to tonberry, but good luck trying to get in:/

Edit for clarity:it's jp, so less lag.

Least lag would be the japanese servers.  There's some kind of tool that has a bunch of phrases to facilitate playing with Japanese players.  The EU servers may be less lag than the NA if you don't want to play on the japanese ones.

If one of them lags for you, they all will. They're all located in the same place.  Or maybe try when the servers aren't being hammered.

I believe that there is a fairly large English Speaking Grand Company located on Masamune (JP Server).

    They're called Distant World.

I'll send you a link to their website through messages.  The only reason I know about them is because they used to make FFXIV 1.0 videos, so I don't know if they're raid focused or not.  But their website says they're an International Community.

Due to frequent travel in my youth, English isn't something I consider my primary language (and thus I obtained quirky ways of writing).  German and French were always easier for me despite my family being U.S. citizens for over a century.  Spanish I learned as a requirement in school, Japanese and Korean I acquired for my youthful desire of anime and gaming (and also work now).  I only debate in English to help me work with it (and limit things).  In addition, I'm not smart enough to remain fluent in everything and typically need exposure to get in the groove of things again if I haven't heard it in a while.  If you understand Mandarin, I know a little, but it has actually been a challenge and could use some help.

Also, I thoroughly enjoy debates and have accounts on over a dozen sites for this.  If you wish to engage in such, please put effort in a post and provide sources -- I will then do the same with what I already wrote (if I didn't) as well as with my responses to your own.  Expanding my information on a subject makes my stance either change or strengthen the next time I speak of it or write a thesis.  Allow me to thank you sincerely for your time.

You shouldn't have a one second delay on any server anywhere.  That sounds like something wrong on you're end to be honest. Have you tried other online games recently, your IP may be having problems.

I had no problem with Rift and Ghost recon online. Still playing them and they are fine with ping. Im not sure if its my computer problem or the internet problem. But i dont think the lag got anything to do with my computer or my graphic card. Cuz i got at least 1 sec delay and i see ppl flying around me.

Well no, the lag isn't a computer issue, unless what your seeing is bad performance and confusing it with lag. What you mean by a 1 second delay is that when you press a button it takes a second for that action to happen? It should never be that long just from ping alone, that would be a ridiculously high ping that indicates an issue between your connection and theirs. Somewhere a long the line something is messing up, and if it isn't happening in other online games it's not you're computer.

Make sure you're IP is not experiencing problems and contact Square Enix support to see if they can help you.
