Stress Test or Fail?

Not having much experience in what is going on, could all this "server full" BS be because of capping the servers in order to simply test the servers capacity and fix bugs when they happen? I cannot honestly think that they do not have more space as the official launch hasn't even happened yet.

    It's now 7.30am 27th august in Japan, and people without EA are able to log in.

    Sounds like launch has basically started..

    From what I can gather, and what others are posting on the SE forums.  Japan is going well...whats all that noise coming from NA/EU?? *hits mute* ahh much better.

    They have basically chosen to ignore the issues.  Yeah they do maintenance on their servers, but never bother to increase their capacity, since issues arise if they do.  Havent seen a drop of information from anyone official on a game play or anything really.

    It almost seems like their plan is to keep everything as is, and hope enough people leave so that the servers can handle it all.

     

    I mean the forum moderators are not even there anymore.  You don't even have a voice of reason telling people to remain calm and that they are working on the issue and will give us info when its available...

     

    Its really baffling how SE is approaching the easily solved and common launch issues.  They are just ignoring everything and hoping it all gets better I think...I expect this kind of stuff out of a small indy developer..not SE...

    heres to hoping the game is worth it though *raises glass* my DL is about done and im gonna roll the dice.

    Once you get your key you should be able to try logging in.

    Any early access is really the last beta test in disguise.  There is a reason no EA goes perfectly....

    I can login but I guess I just assumed all the servers would have a lot more space for all the non preorder crew? I was hoping that at official launch, they would free up a lot more space so everyone could login and play on any server?

    All i can do is laugh..... All the people that didnt have early access are gonna flood the servers even more now. Unfortunatly u may not even be able to create a charactor, and if u can u most definitly will not be able to log into the game. Maybe early tomorrow morning. So sad this is becomming.
