Well it is two days in now AND I am still not able to play this??? I ask you this: has anyone been able to play in the last couple of hours? - thank you!

    Says the server is down for me. I was able to "play" it 20 minutes ealier today. I was stuck on "please wait" after I pushed create when I made my character. That's what you call quality game making.

    i still havent been able to log in yet and i was trying all day yesterday and this afternoon. doesnt get past servers are down message, even though the launchpad says they are up.

    the worst part is they are not giving any updates as to what is happening plus the forums are shut down. great customer service...

    I have same problem...

    I just don't get they can't keep people informed of what is going on. All they have to do is to put a small message on the front web page on the status of things and they will save themselves thousands of tickets coming in... I sure hope they will work on communication better than this...

    u allwaus can mail to Support Center :P do u have the same problem ?? in launch there is server up but when i start game there is error : "server is no opened yet" ??

           FYI the servers being down has nothing to do with NP3 or Farlan's level of competence or lack there of.  It states on their website (in a part that is still accessible) that settlers will only be able to play SOG from 1pm GMT/UTC to 6am Tuesday GMT.  They did actually leave the servers up later than promised last night so that the 10k free accounts could get access and have a couple hours to get oriented b4 they took them down again.  I was hoping that they wouldn't have 2 days downtime with the servers having been up less than a day; but we will see if they end the maintenance and patching early this week. 

           I agree that this info should be on the front page as this is the first week of SOG and their forums are down, but no such luck.  Also idk wtf the deal is with the launcher saying the game server is up when it is not, they should at least change it to down so people don't think they aren't able to log in due to yet another bug or corrupt code in the data.  Just thought I would save everyone's sanity,  and let them know wtf is going on so that you don't waste the next 2 days sitting at your pc and trying to log in (and possibly breaking a mouse or keyboard like I tend to do when mad).

      The Pioneers enter Sog on Dec 12th, 10h00am UTC

      The new Settlers enter SoG on Dec 13th, 08h00am UTC


    When can I play Settlers of Ganareth?
    Settlers of Ganareth is opened every week, from Thursday, 01:00pm UTC, to Tuesday, 06:00am UTC

    If you notice they told us all the servers would be down tues. and wed. I know it sucks but i wouldn't expect to play until thursday at 1:00PM UTC

    When u write something like that, think about it first. That post tehre makes absolutely no sense at all.

    So new Settlers like me get in on Tuesday at 8:00am UTC

    But according to your post, the servers closed 2 hours earlier @ 6:00am UTC doest exactly make sense that they were planning for settlers to log in 2 hours AFter the servers go down.

    If you read deeper, it says "Except for the first week of launch." at least it did say that.

    I mean how could they open the servers up on Tuesday 8:00am if the servers are supposed to be down at Tuesday 6:00am?

    It would not surprise me if they did take the servers down for the weekly 55 hour down time and I have had an aching suspicion they might in fact have done this.  But I don't believe even Farlan would do such a thing to its community.   People have been under the impression that the servers will not go down this 1st week.  If they indeed did take the server down until Thursday one would think the Devs would at least tell the people in IRC.  While it might be bad business to take the servers down for 2 days it would be almost suicide to do it and leave people hanging like this.   I don't think highly of Farlan but I don't theink they are stupid enough to take the server down for 2 days and not tell anyone in IRC knowing people are spending every waking minute trying to get on to the server.  Speaking of IRC does anyone in IRC chat have any word on an eta for the server?

    fekkin servers are down since 13 hours and n o n e information on their webpage whats going on and when servers will be back up again....seriously, support is quiete bad image
