    No problem! It's not too big of a client, but still always nice to have a patcher beforehand so you don't have to wait after purchase.

    There was, I can't remember where I'm pretty sure it was on the account page. And that link I posted is a direct download from their website, not some other website.

    Square-Enix made the game so I assume that the link provided is an official one.

    Soooooooooooooo basically i cannot download the game before i bought it? Seriously? So i need to waste my time waiting for SE to enable digital copy so i can buy it and then start downloading? Fail logic much?

    That's actually common practice now, I completely forgot about that. I remember Rift had that, you couldn't patch until you logged in with an active subscription. I can't remember off the top of my head any other games, but I know there was a couple more.
