PC. On PC you get more than 30 FPS and ultra graphic settings with excelent engine optimization. I havent tried the PS3 version but the PS3 is an ancient console. Im sure it plays well on PS3 but that is because they downgraded it so the console can handle it. And PC version is cheaper :p

Both play on the same servers so its your choice. Im on PC and will get the PS4 version when it launches.

Edit: those are the only downsides i see for the PS3 version: 30 PFS and downgraded graphics.

even though both psp3 and pc play on same servers you can't switch between them on the same account?

that would be a nice feature to have.

also do you know if you have a psp3 account can it be upgraded and transferred to psp4?

i dont have the best answer for that but if i remember correctly you can switch system on the go using the same account, but you need to buy the game for each system.

There are videos that show the difference between the two but the PS3 version is like cutting the max setting in half maybe more.  There is a noticeable difference but understandable because the PS3 is about 7 years old.

    I voted PC.

I own and play the game on PS3.

I love it, the cross hotbar is very intuitive and once you figure out a couple of little tricks, it's great.

Playing on big ass HDTV from my couch is amazingly nice, I have a bluetooth keyboard connected to my PS3 for voice chat.

That being said, PC does have better graphics and performance (assuming you have the hardware, which you say you do) and the targeting as a lot easier.

Targeting on the PS3 is kind of a pain, there are some shortcuts and tricks, but not as good as PC.

Camera control in tight spaces on PS3 is kind of weird too.

You'll see a whole lot of the mob you're fighting, not so much of your character if you are in melee range.

Open spaces it is fine, but in a cramped dungeon space, kind of annoying.

This is correct - you can play on both, but you have to buy the software for both. You only need 1 subscription though, just need to buy the boxes.

The game runs well on both PC and PS3. The graphics are noticeably better on PC (not a surprise), the biggest detriment to the PS3 is culling/character drop out, which you will notice in large events (FATEs) - similar to the GW2 Wv3 problem. It doesn't really affect gameplay or anything, but it's pretty noticeable. Load times are reasonable even on the PS3 and the game plays very smoothly.

The game plays very well with controller, and for just running around doing easy stuff I actually prefer the controller. Once it starts to get hectic I'm not as proficient with it, and go back to the K/M. The PS3 has the option to use K/M for some stuff (chatting, some UI stuff), but you can't get the PC hotbar interface. PC can switch between hotbars (k/m) or crossbars (controller).

If you absolutely can't afford a PC, or just prefer to sit on your couch and vegetate while playing (which I do at times, and is the reason I got the PS3 version) - get the PS3 version. Otherwise default to the PC version, because it's cheaper, it runs on a wide array of hardware options and doesn't need a super computer (unlike 1.0), and you get the option to use the K/M or controller.
