Question about getting on a server for the first time ?

in Final Fantasy XIV

My friend purchased FF14 a few days ago, apparently right before they stopped selling it from Squire Enix. But he can't make a character on any server because they are all full.

He even got up in the very at 4 AM and almost got into our server, but no....Any Idea when he will be able to access a server or even any server ?

    Looks like early next week probably if he's already tried all the servers.

    Never he should honestly return the game before it waste his money.
