Well, when the game has 20 out of 50 levels setup as tutorial and is generally dumbed/stripped down, ie, when the game is designed for the not so bright, what do you expect?

Heh first time I tried to tank with marauder I got a lancer in the party that thought he could tank...
He would rush in advance, sprinting sometimes too, go alone vs 3 mobs almost dying in a few seconds till I got the aggro back. On the last boss which keeps on spawning adds every few seconds he didn't even bother helping the healer and the other dps on killing the adds but remained on the boss no matter what I said.
Ultimately I died as the healer couldn't heal enough with all the adds I had on me since the stupid lancer didn't help.
That was the last time I used marauder in a dungeon. (Wanted to test how tanking was in FF, never again)

This game features something many don't, cross platform servers, loyalist Ps3 customers have not been exposed to the PC or MMO's to any extent. DCUO, is about it outside of free realms or shooters.They haven't played many games requiring tanking, Healing, CC, or a synergy based on them. A big part of community, is ushering in new generations, and accepting them with the old. Many of these types are still hardcore gamers, which means in time they'll pick it up, all this type of outlook will do is push them away before that time comes. Do we really need yet another game being governed by elitist thugs in this day and age? All it does is spoil the community, and turn people away.
I always wondered if what I heard about the upper echelon of FFXI's community was true, it seems like it's making it's way into FFXIV as well.
