http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/69267-Lost-free-30-days-for-accidentally-registered-to-the-wrong-service-account

There over 150k+  views, and a tons of replys and post for near the same thing. That just the tip of the Ice berg of the story.  There stealing a lot peoples money and there promise from the ads and everything , by pretending you can play the game , Yet with there hidden and horrid sign in problems and tech issues , preventing people even to play the game,.

Next if you buy the game. They random some people to two accounts or some cases it there mistake. They would create a second account so they would have to buy the game again, or do the one time , transfer.  or unable to get there character back and it would stop them from the server there on. And tricking people into  buying the game again. It helping prevent people from playing the game as there nerf. now.

I believe there system they got set up is illegal in the USA and some the Europe countries. With false advertising, if the ads were on usa or eu webstites.

Also there customer service in my 36 years of living is the worst  I ever dealt with. If lucky you get to win the lottery and get through, or in last 5 days you lose, or get to be next in line dc, not just me there a lot people. More then square understands.

Once in the game it should not matter if game broken or fun as hell , just getting into the game i believe there set up is illegal. For registering. Maybe wrong. Feels like it.  Not getting to the product that was shown , even if  it was bad or great.

Hope you guys can use your reporters skills get to the bottom of it.

Thank you ,

Any Staff of MMORPG

PS: game is fun if can play it,  Old school mmo teamwork is great again.

They posted an announcement before the official release date clarifying EXACTLY how to not get two separate service accounts as they anticipated that players would fail at registering their game. They are aware of this issue, even were aware before it happened and they are trying to resolve it.

If memory serves, there was a post specifically designed to explain how to properly enter that code.  People failed to read.

The Mog Station was updated within 48 hours to a better design to remove the problem.

Did SE create an initially convoluted system?  Yes, but they realized it was an issue and explained how to properly handle it.  Then they fixed the system.

What the heck is the news here?

Big new is: People can't read, don't take their time and don't use common sense and complain afterwards without realising that in the end it was due to their ignorance that they even got in that situation.

Can't speak for the EU, but here in USA, it is NOT illegal for a company to collect money from customers.

What news would you like to come out? "Players make mistake and pay twice?".

I would rather hear news about how players were slowing down and reading when they sign up for games.

Edit: SE has suspended digital sales. So your claim of them "stealing money by selling game you can't log" into is false.
