I hope SE doesn't go overboard with the new servers. Once the inevitable initial rush dies down, as it does for all new mmos and the population evens out and even diminishes some, I'm worried that if they have to many servers its going to leave some under populated and lead to the all to common cries for server merges.
Fix your login servers and Database problems but go easy with adding to many servers. Maybe even offer a limited time period of free server xfers after the upgrades.

I share your concern but unfortunately we do need the extra servers. At this point I rather move to a new server (or even restart) and having to move back in the future then this log in bs.
Im not even angry nor upset about the current log in issues, I am just disapointed about it and DO acknowlage we shouldnt have to deal with it. But I have enough in my life to entertain me, that and I have better things to get worked up about ~^
As long as they are willing to merge servers.
Some companies drag their feet far too long on merging servers, and it end up making the issue worse since more people leave due to dead servers.
It would be nice if they could do it smart. Add a server only when the new server gets full.
After reading yoshi's message again, I dont think the plan is for people to xfer. The new servers are for new players. They are hoping that the fix to the duty finder will also fix the login issues. Im not sure how that works, but thats what he said.

Once the new Worlds are implemented and the duty finder server load has been redistributed over smaller World server groups, we believe that many of the login issues that players are currently experiencing will clear.
i dunno if it will or wont come back to bite them later, but they NEED some more servers.
i've been able to actually play on an NA server twice in the past week. and it aint from lack of trying.
RIP Ribbitribbitt you are missed, kid.
