Technically ur not paying for it yet, you bought the disk/game which u got and then ur paying for the subrsciption which there not charging u for until they fix server issues what u get now is free access when u can get in. completly free.

Please don't discourage them from getting refunds. I already can feel my gaming experience potential in the future improving without their potential ignorance/impatience ruining my grouping experiences etc.

Also, as much as some people actually want a refund, I'm sure despite how angry some are already with the server issues, I'm sure the majority of them are waiting to see what happens with the game in the next couple of weeks.

I wouldn't go about getting a refund just yet.  Its too early.  If they don't fix the server issue within the next week or so AND don't offer some sort of game time compensation, then it would be reasonable to seek a refund.

Is a man not entitled to the herp of his derp?

Remember, I live in a world where juggalos and yugioh players are real things.

Every cloud has a silver lining image

I am definitely very curious as to how many people are playing this game, i've been able to get into the game most of the time (working this weekend so unable to play due to real life issues!) although i have encountered a queue a couple of times, which is a bit frustrating, as a result i've had to create a couple of toons on different servers to ensure i can actually play, as afaik if a queue on a server reaches 100, further logins result in the server full message with a 'try again later' kind of thing, which can be very disheartening. I am sticking with the game, though, because when i am playing, the game really is that good.

So if those guys are getting refunds, thats great, less chance of them being in the queue ahead of me image

as far as i can tell their giving people extended free time until its sorted, i know they've already added at least 7 days to mine image

So..these "I want a refund" posts are dumb.

The "Dude it's just the launch of the game, chill" responses are so much worse.

How is this ok ? That's my question. Would you be ok with such craptastic service for anything else you pay for ? If you bought a DVD but couldn't watch it for the first two weeks because they had "trouble with BDlive" you wouldn't be upset ?

Stop giving MMOs carte blanche to do whatever when it comes to launch. This whole thing has been unacceptable from the start, to be so painfully unprepared is an amateur move and has dented my faith in SE more than 1.0 ever did. At least that was just bad design, this is being completely detatched with the North American and European markets.

How do you not have any contingency plan in place ? How do you not look at market data from other NA/EU mmos to judge the kind of hardware you need ? Quite simply, they cut costs and screwed over their NA/EU subscribers in a major way.

Don't give them an out just because "it's an mmo launch". I'm not saying someone should get fired like some other people in this thread, because the game itself is good, but something needs to be done.

I know right. I paid for a game and have to wait a week to play it. WTF guys.

    To agree with bestever's sarcasim...

Then maybe they shouldn't have charged my CC for the box until Wednesday.

If i went into the gas station and laid out a $20 for fuel, walk out to my car and -- oh the pumps don't work... you think your gonna leave that $20 there until Wednesday when the gas pump repair guy gets there to fix it and you can put gas in your tank?

Probably not. Your probably gonna go pick your $20 back up and drive/roll/push your beater to the next station.

Sure, games aren't gas. We don't need to play video games. But we also could ride a bike, or take the bus... or a million other things.

I got so much free time from server down time when WoW launched I almost had 2 months free with my 30 days free.

stop fanboing up the ff threads you're always doing it.  It's beyond ridiculous at this point.  The only other launch this bad in the last 10 years has been Vanguard
