Anyone else use emotes?

in Final Fantasy XIV

I thought the lack of chat bubbles would kill the community in this game, but somehow i find that a lot of people including myself tend to use emotes when they interact with each other. i personally use /wave and /bow a lot (especially if someone does some favor for me like res me), and if i meet someone i tend to do it in a place where i can wait for them sitting on a chair (adventurer's guild). a lot people seem to do the same thing because recently there are fewer and fewer empty chairs to sit on at the adventurer guilds lol.  

Most memorable games: AoC(Tryanny PvP), RIFT, GW, GW2, Ragnarok Online, Aion, FFXI, FFXIV, Secret World, League of Legends (Silver II rank)

    Would like to see chat bubbles introduced but I do use emotes a fair bit especially at one point in the story line that left my character shocked, sad, tearful and then furious.( I will say no more as I don't want to spoil the story for anyone that hasn't got to that part yet)
