anyone not able to get in when the server was up?

in Dark and Light

When I tried to play the game back when the server was up I would get to the SoG screen and it would crash to desktop. I would ask on the DnL forums but those were shut down. Did this happen to anyone else?

    I got in yesterday.  All I had to do was rename my .ini file to stop if from crashing.  I did crash in game 3 times over about 5 or 6 hours, but it was pretty good for the most part.

    same thing happened to me punk, run time error after the logo screen every time.  sent in a tech email to the support team, yet to get a reply.

     

    would love to know a solution to this, with the official forms beaing down and support being none existant as far as i can tell not sure what else to do other than ignore the fact that i have SoG for a few days till i find something.

    brief update, wife jsut finished patching, same error, completly differnt system.

     

    visual c++ runtime error, termination request....

    Delete the sog.ini file in the SoG game directory to fix this problem.

    Yep got in yesterday !

    Worked fine for me then.

    there was no sog.ini so i jsut moved the other .ini's out and see if it does something to fix the problem...  =/
