Final fantasy 14 arr account compromised

Hi guys, forget the typo's in this post english is not my native language.
Here is the issue i try to login today in the game and it say's that because of suspicious activities my account was disabled and needed to reset my password.
So i did, now it ask me for my credit card and new registration code????
So what gives. Like all others i tried for day's on end to access the game but unable to do so since almost a week now.
Even in other post i advise the issue that my character is stuck at level 19 because of that. And this morning i get this message.
I try to go on the website and contact them but get redirected to there support page and it gives me a chat request support page. so i fill up the form. Then get another page stating my ticket number etc. and it states chat support not available for the moment please keep your ticket number and re-visit this page within 7 day's to start your chat support.
What gives. come on. You think you gona charge me for something i did not even get to play to full extent?? Also why others getting extended play time but i dont?
I would have understand if i would have sold in-game gils or botted or something but for christ sake i work 40hrs a week , have akid and a wife to take care and spend time with. Also i kept myself away from the game because i wanted them to repair there login issue's.
I see people stating dont worry we get extended time to play + i am suppose to get a 30day free time with my purchase.
Anyone else is having this issue? ( And no i did not bot or use the service in any other way that it is intended for ).

Sounds like someone is attempting to mess with you. I don't recommend putting any information like that in unless you tal kto SE first. Make sure the email was sent by SE and not a phising scam. I also had an email a week ago about my account being compromised but that is a normal issue with SE's account management. Asking for your credit card and Registration is not normal practice.

I got a physical login token free with my CE - I know you can purchase them from SE.
You can also get a free one for an iPhone or Android phone if you have one.
unfortunately the OP has fallen for a phishing scam, they not only have control of his game account, but it sounds like he's even given them his credit card details.
NEVER EVER USE A LINK IN AN EMAIL
i just hope the OP hasnt lost too much, he needs to get in touch with his bank now!
How many digits is the token?
Not sure, haven't actually tied it to my account yet, but I imagine the usual 6.
But I'm a person who uses a complex, long password so I'm not as worried... still, big fan of two-factor - will hook it up once SE gets my credit card info lol

I have a token on my Blizz it's 6, a huge SW fan of mine order 4 token's for SWTOR and gave me one, he ordered 4 because it was the same amount to ship or something. Anyway it's freak'in 8 and you have to enter it every single f'in log in and if your on the tail end of the allotted time, well f me, dunno 8 is too much to remember from a flash to keyboard.
So when SWTOR went f2p i literally started a free account just so i could say f'it to the token login and no way i was spending 8 days on the phone to call support to remove it.
I like Blizz once a week or so, every time if you want.
If the ARR token is 6 i'll prolly order one.
Maybe Im reading it wrong, but it reads to me like the message was from his login attempt not an email.
Also its a really good idea to keep any 3rd party forum sites login info/emails separate from ones you use for games.
I know its kind of obvious but.
Some fan site will get hacked and well everyone who used the same email /pss ect for the fan site will magically get hacked in game.
I find it unlikely that you can click a link these days, get a logger, and lose your game account...im sure it happens but no ones that dumb.
Usually its a 3rd party site whos info is compromised and they just run that login info through the game in the hopes that someone use the same info.
I keep seeing e-mail phishing scams.
But I don't see anything in the OP about email?

Then again the OP claims english isn't his first language, so perhaps something is lost in translation?
Either way, I would keep trying to contact SE as much as possible! And never give anything your creditcard info unless it is the official site FOR SURE!

I am entitled to my opinions, misspellings, and grammatical errors.
Actually i got the message trying to login with the client stating the account had been compromised and a email was sent to me to reset the password.
witch i did then i found out i had to enter my cc info on the square enix website to reactivate my subscription.
Thats when i tried again to login true the client and it ask for a new sub key. Witch i presume it is given when you reactivate your sub true a new subscription. That's why i ask if anybody had the same issue.
To clarify i did not receive a email stating my account was compromised i found out by trying to log in the game. then the email to reset the password was sent out. It is legit but again i am still baffled by the fact that i did not do anything wrong not even afk out to play at night. And they are telling me to play i can't get any extention on my free time but to top it off i got to pay with a credit card.
It is the first time ever this is happening to me i had a WoW account since the game exist and it did not happend i had also a eq 1 and eq2 account same thing not one single time i had issue with any game get compromised . But looks like we have to go true it at least once
Hopefully i will get some answer soon from Square Enix. and once i have it i will update this post. But thanks for the info.

From what i read on official forums, many people was temporarily banned.
BUT from what i see...it might be big coincidence. But yesterday i have not get even one gold seller pm me.
Just sayin...coincidence(if that's the case - you might be banned by accident as well
)
It is 6 digits, i ordered one right after i pre ordered the game, typing in the code every time can get annoying, but better to be safe then sorry.
Sorry, that should of been a red flag right there. No company will ever ask for credit card info twice for something that only needed to be purchased once
