All of you whiners, have you ever tried to make pc game yourself ? I think not, but if ,then not as good as DnL so you dont know how hard it is to make sure everything is okay. ( if you have made better game than DnL is then you can whine as much as you want)
If you say This game is going off my harddrive then let it go, more monsters to kill for those who like this game and appreciate the hard work of creating a game.

Well genius, the majority of people that don't know how to make an MMO generally don't.. Notice how i stated majority.... This excludes the developers of Mourning and Dark and Light....

Hah! So now you need to be a game developer in order to judge a game?
I suppose playing several different MMORPG's over a period of ten years means nothing if you are not a game developer?
Get a clue man, this game has no chance as it is, unless they have a huge pile of code hidden away that they plan on implementing over the next 4 months. I seriously doubt that, but I truly hope they do. I would love to see this game live up to NP3's claims, but I wont hold my breath, and you shouldnt either.

Why is it when someone complains about not getting what was promised, they are a whiner?
Original offer to Pioneers stated, and I quote "access to SoG, which launches December 8th".
This is not something that NP3 put together in a few days. This is a project that is over 3 years old, including months of beta. And they can't even bring a server up for 8881 people that is supposed to handle 100K without needing addition computers added to the cluster.
And don't give me that ".. you haven't been around for the launch of many MMORPG's" line. I have been around for the launch of many of them. They all kept the players updated on their forums. When you fail to communicate, that is when your forums turn to anarchy and players vent. Instead of providing information, they close their forums because they don't have a clue. Didn't you read the email from them - "...solve the problem, hopefully!".
A whiner is someone who complains about trivial issues.
Some would even call you a whiner for complaining about the people that are complaining.

I wonder, how people can judge something after just a day. I mean they could have played several hours maximum, as servers were down most of the time.
Maybe there is a nice little princess on the next island?

It is true that many do not realize the challenges faced by game developers in making a game (especially an MMO). That being said, however, it should at least be expected that any MMO in development be reasonably close to industry standard when it comes to quality, which DnL most certianly is not.
It is admirable for small development studios to take on such large projects, but if the game they come up with, after 5 years, is in such lackluster shape, even the fact that they are a small dev team is no real excuse for that. After a while, I think the small guys should realize when they are in over their heads, and respectfully throw in the towel. DnL's reputation is only going to get worse from here on out.
I think for them being small guys the game rockers, THE PEOPLE ARE MAD CUZ THEY CANT GET IN not becuase of the game play DUH.
IM well respceted in this commutiny and in the DNL site so ill make sure dnl reutation is good if not the same as mine. And being uber shouldnt make no diifercane
