Where are the US servers physically located?

in Final Fantasy XIV

Does anyone know where are the US servers physically located? As is in what state? 

Also, if anyone from the oceanic region could post their average ping times it would be appreciated.

    They're located in Canada (Montreal is what I want to say but I'm not sure honestly :P).

    If you're in the oceanic area I would say go for Japan though.

    Ugh, thats pretty disappointing. Why would they chose to locate servers so far from their target market? I get around 300ish ms ping times to Montreal. Thats unplayable for me.

    Actually, on that note I've got exceptional ping for an online game (for me). Usually I get the shaft :D About time someone else does...I guess they listened to my constant whining in FFXI?

    In addition to adjusting some settings, I'm reading up about this software called 'Smoothping'.  I don't know if anyone has tried it but it's suppose to help lower your ping.  No idea if it works but just wanted to throw that out there.
