Yep... I couldn't even laugh at that one it was so sad. They said "I gave it a zero because this always online DRM is really low!"

That is what we call a troll review. Don't pay it much attention, the writer isn't that stupid...I hope.

If the reviewer is being serious, then *insert facepalm picture of choice*

But people giving 10s and 0s, yea fanboys and trolls.

I saw similar complaints about Diablo 3. I agree, totally dumb.

ya DRM is an issue because it use window timer not hardware timer!so often if you are set for speed DRM get false positive thinking you hacked and server automaticly throttle you and disconnect.supposed to be fixed soon!aside from this happening every 100 minute or so?everything is smooth.I get 75 fps in area wow would crash with this many(imagine dalaran at its peak with 75 fps!ya its awesome ,if s-e can set DRM to hardware timer instead of window ?hell ya I predict a good future to this game

Other than the fact that even Blizzard acknowledged that around 60% of Diablo 2 players played off line.    So there wasn't that automatic assumption that the only way to play was perpetually online.

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

DRM is shitty because it means you don't own the game you bought.  You are subject to servers elsewhere in the world being online just to play the game.

For many games, I want to play them without an online-only aspect.   I understand that company's want to throw cash-shop's into a players face when they play, and keep an updated cash-shop as time goes on.

The problem is, when the games eventually go offline, gamers can no longer play those games.  That's an issue.

I still enjoy games from 20 years ago, or even 10 years ago .. because the disc(s) install the game fully.  There is no server requirement.

DRM .. major boo to publishers / developers.  I don't support DRM games, ... but I will buy them if a crack is available to circumvent DRM :P

[important part, I buy the games .. I don't believe in piracy ... I just want to OWN WHAT I BUY.  I tend to collect boxes as a result]

DRM = complete and utter shit .. so many other ways to avoid piracy .. one time keys wasn't good enough?
