The PVP

in Final Fantasy XIV

Hey guys, been looking everywhere to find info on the pvp and I see what they are doing, but I was wondering if someone had answers to these questions:

1.  When are the implementing the pvp system? (mainly wolves den)

2.  It says you can use food and pots, are they crafted or is there going to be an arena npc or something?

3.  Will rankings be based on teams or individuals? 

4.  Ideas on best comps?

    The information is limited.  All we know is that it is coming, and will be in the first content patch.  They haven't announced anything beyond that.

    First major content patch was planned* for next month.

    First they need to get sales back up, make sure the servers are stable ect.

    This next patch that comes tonight brings some fixes and adjustments.  Next patch should be content, which involves pvp..

    However...as planned...who knows when.  Its the next major stuff they are working on. We all know how that goes so don't expect it all next patch.

    I don't know how PvP is going to work in this outdated combat engine. 

    When you try to spam skills on moving mobs your skills do not register. When you are a melee class. Monk, Dragoon, etc etc.

    You basically have to run faster then the target to hit them.

    I really hope they can do something about this.

    If I remember right, we will have a different skillset for pvp from what we use in pve.  

     

    Whether that just means a few new things and a few things missing, or if it means 100% unique pvp only abilities, I don't know.
