server down?

in Dark and Light
None of the sites say it is, but I got kicked, laptop crashed, went to switch computers, and now am getting server down message.

    I read your post but I didn't get a message so I didn't respond.  It came up not responding, I tried to force close it, and the whole laptop went down.  Screen turned black and never came back.  Meh.  I haven't gotten on on this computer yet is the only reason I wonder if it's just me.

    Same thing happend to me i crashed and now i cant relog only im not on a laptop.

    it says the server is up, but who knows....sometimes those launcher things are not updated so frequently

    yea, that's got to be it.  Quick question, tho.  What anti-virus/firewall software are you peeps using?

    Wasnt' my lap top.  I've been disabling my veritas and smart enforcer (I'm at Arizona State University atm) because I know it has kept me out of their irc channel (which I think is also down), but I'm not sure how badly it's messed with my dnl connection.

    Well i use McAfee but i dont want to turn it off for a game.

    Plus i have it on all the time and online games run no problem even beta ones.

    They'll work it out.  I just don't think that's their top priority atm.  It hasn't even been confirmed yet that that's the problem.  Someone said that they got kicked when their friend didn't and they thought it was the antivirus.  Who knows?  It could have been many things.
