You think they're gonna open their forums on the 15th?

I know they said they would, but I doubt they will. I'm not sure they're ready to deal with what's waiting for them!
I can picture now what their forums will look like on the 1st day they're reopened...

I highly doubt they will reopen them on the 15th, they can't even keep the server up and going for more than 2 hours. They shut them down so people could play the game without the forums "lagging the game." Personally I think that's a bunch of crap. They shut them down so they don't have to worry about peope chewing them out all day for the crappy release of a game that should have been finished and fairly tested by the beta testers which after SOG I don't even believe they have.
Well they did say Pioneers gets to enter DnL on the 12th and New Settlers on the 13th....
Also the Original Date of SoG was the 8th....

They have to take down the forums so people can download a file? What are these people? Rejects?
coz like any 12 year old thinks that the gameserver and webserver are the same
Most likely their boards are ready to open again.
All they did was adding some new sections and subforums.
The question is this.
Do they really want to open their forums again?
They are not going to like what they see when they open their forums again that's for sure.
I played a lot of betaes and this game is not even close to beeing finished if SOG is the best they can deliver.
I never played a game this messed up before.
AO at release ran perfect compared to SOG.
Horizons in beta 6 months before release was more finished than this,and that prooves how long DnL is from release.
I can't believe that not even the Crafting part is in SOG or the DnL beta yet.
How are betatesters going to test out the Crafting part in just 3½ month?
DnL is not releasing in April,that's for sure.

I totaly agree and we were prommised that our money will be transferd from SoG to DnL well we have not time making money here. Until now.. for me.. the Pioneer Offer is a Nice Car whithout a key.
Everyone likes it but you cant do anything whith it because you cant get in the car.
And i realy hate to get the LOGIN_REJECTED_NO_SUCH_USER error if i am a pioneer.
Well however they fill the Launcher now whith information and that is a step in the right derection. And i still have hope for a good game(@least a lot flamers are gone now in this forum

I can login just as fine as you can and having played 15 MMORPG's i have something i can compare SOG to.
And SOG is the worst pile of crap i have ever played so far.
Good for you that you're having a blast,that just tells me that we have different opinions.
But you're not going to play DnL in April that's for sure and when it releases i think you will see a huge world but not very populated with players.
Remind me to bump this thread in april next year ok.

I personally don't think the forums will open today. Not until the majority of Pioneers and Settlers can get into the game and around the account validation issues.
I think if they do, the forums will be a zoo of haters and fanboi's.

Well Mr.Smarty pants, some of us happen to think SoG is the best MMO that has ever. Of course the some of us are the ones that can actually log into the game and we are having a blast!

I doubt they will open today... It is already 8:30 pm their time so I think they already blew it off for today...
I feel sorry for the poor forum mods, hehe, I bet they are shaking in their boots at the mere thought of re-opening the forums...

Solution:This is that the login server is down, you may also get this error if you where disconnected suddenly and it might work if you re-try in a few minutes

Apparently people don't remember how screwed up WoW's login system was too. Their log-ins were tied to the boards too, and there were a LOT of times when nobody could log-in on the boards because the IG system was screwed up, or vice versa. I had the problem a lot.
A lot of places games tie them in together like that. It's not a matter of lagging the game server, but lagging/glitching the log-in server.
When I checked around 10:30 pm (EST) the forums were up and busy....
