Black Desert: First Closed Beta Coming on October 17th

2p.com is reporting that Black Desert will enter its first beta event on October 17th and that it will run through October 23rd. The information was revealed during a Korean LAN party along with four classes that will be available to testers during the event.

Although the way things are going, we'll see it in NA before ArcheAge.
With it's seamless fusion of eastern and western cultures, I am more excited for this then any other upcoming MMO. The combat is the only thing that "worries" me thus far.
I haven't spent too much time looking at this game. But, after seeing the video you posted. It reminded me of Tera. I loved Tera's combat. If this game is simlar, I will definitely play it when it releases.
This is the ONLY MMO I'm waiting for, everything else is tired and played out.
If nobody picks up this title in NA, they are fools.

if this is true then that is a big problem considering which type of companies usually bring Korean mmos to the west (companies like Nexon, Frogster, Gameforge, etc). If thats what we depend on then i hope it stays in Korea.
It's more likely to be AA all over again, wait, wait, wait, hope, hope, hope.
Learning from lessons of AA, you are all better off just forgetting about this title until 2015 because getting excited now will only end in frustration in it's journey to NA.

As of today i am going to stop giving a shit about this game, Its going to be another Arch Age...At least 3 years away from a NA/EU release so screw it....Wish mmorpg.com would stop giving us news about a KR closed beta.
the ONLY K-mmo i have ever really loved was good old L2. but maybe this one will break the curse, or archeage.
I hope they find someone good to do westernization. I'd like to see someone like turbine get it.
