Twice that of crack? I say bullcrap.
rofl-um, you have about 20 games listed that you are waiting on, and you have been posting an average of roughly twice a day for two years to mmorpg.com.
Funny story about myself. When I first started playing SWG, something about the graphics made me nauseous, though usually not badly so. But I had one weekend free for some reason that I could spend all my time playing. I did and by the time I stopped on Sunday I was physically ill. I had to call in sick the next day at work. Never did that again. hehe
So, twice crack? I'd say three or four times.
hollyshit if all those predictions become true ill crap my pants
thats some of the scariest shit i heard
but yeah its all BS... I hope

Wow.
That was an excellent article, I must say. It really makes you think about the rapid progress of the online world over the physical. Bringing in a reference to The Matrix was, of course, inevitable, and for once applied to the discussion at hand. By far I thought the most interesting point was the last, that the rise of the 'Metaverse' (Effectively, the Matrix) will go unopposed. In this sense, if his predictions are correct, this is the exact course of action that will occur.
Really gets you thinking and highlights the information age and the internet in a way that I thought about, but never that in-depth, before. The sentence 'People got sick of this world, and so we created our own' struck a chord as well, in a sense true. In his approximation of the future, we will all end up in those red pods in the Matrix, with the one difference being that everyone went voluntarily. Wonder what the Luddites would have to say about that one, eh?

I hate drugs and anything that relates to that, because in my country and some others people die because of the production if drugs like Cocaine. That is why i hate it and anything related to that.
However, MMORPG is an addiction i will embrace. I will be part of those people that play MMORPG for a living. You may say "get a life" or "you don't have a life", but you are right, i dont, my social life is so terrible that i live in Tyria on monday, Tatooine on tuesday, Azeroth on wednesday and so on... Its people like me that will become the MMORPG gamers class. Social and psycological studies should start considering this.
Have a good day. And each time you get some cocain think that you are killing a person in Peru or Colombia. MMORPG ROCKS!

There's a difference though. If I was addicted to crack, I know that I wouldn't be able to just quit all of a sudden. At least I know that with mmorpgs, I could stop playing them anytime I wanted. Right now, I feel no need to be playing any game, that's why I spend my time doing other stuff and ocassionally post here. Just because I have all those games on my list doesn't mean I will actually be playing them all. The list used to be much bigger but I recently deleted a bunch off of it. It just means that they are all the games I will be keeping my eye on.
