I feel sorry for the son the most. Just an honest guy looking for a date. The mother was at fault, considering she's married... and the father doesn't have to face first-hand ridicule, he can laugh at his wife and son alongside his friends. The son had no clue the person he was meeting lied about her appearance and gave him a fake photo, etc... was probably ecstatic that online dating had worked for him.
It's times like this that I wonder whether there was some higher power pulling the strings for a good laugh.
