Even though I know that you're trolling, I feel that I must correct you anyways. (Strange Internet-phenomenon, I know.)
Releasing it on the same day as a major competitor holds their extremely media-covered convention? That wouldn't make any sense at all. All the news would essentially drown themselves collectively, that's why even Blizzard themselves announces stuff outside of Blizzcon. (Read: Reaper of Souls) Having too much interesting stuff happening or being announced at the exact same time is a disaster from a marketing standpoint. A few days later? Sure, that would be more feasible I guess. Although, we all know that wont happen in this lifetime. It's waaaay to early.
Now, having said that, I believe EQL to be released in 2014. Probably around February/Mars, beta will happen earlier and they will most likely realize that they need to push back the release and/or extend the Beta-phase as well.
A game studio would have to be nuts to release an MMO during the holidays. There is no way in hell they try to make devs stick around during Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years so they can fix the cluster that is sure to happen during launch.

With "Titan" being scrapped/redone, I disagree. SOE has a leg up on Blizzard because they changed directions a while ago. Blizzard just recently took that route.
For the time being Blizzard is playing catch up. If it wasn't for Hearthstone I think Blizzard would be in a world of hurt.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!
I don't follow these games as closely as a lot of you guys do. But simply judging from the way I've heard SOE talking about features (still soliciting input and floating trial balloons, as if they haven't even begun working on them yet) I voted summer 2014. And that would also coincide nicely with an important demographic segment getting out of school for summer break.
2 clues, many times it has been said "this year" and "winter" if your guessing anything other then the first day of winter, and the end of december, you will be wrong.

Most of this is for EQ Next, not the Lardmark part. EQ Next won't be out for a good while yet. Landmark is completely built already, they use it to design content already. It is a matter of turning it from just a design tool into its own little game that will decide how long it takes.
Being that Landmark is a sandbox of building where they want critique, I'd think they will hit their mark and have it out in 2013. This will only help them...and as a sandbox...all they need are the tools...we do the rest.

I don't remember where I saw it, but someone reported some data that indicated the holidays are a terrible time to release new games. And if you look at SOE's history of rolling out expansions, it has typically done in Sept/Oct or March-June.
But then again, SOE did a pretty good job of holding this project close to its vest for several years, so even though I'm not getting any vibes from SOE that release is only about a month away, who knows. They might surprise us
I expect Landmark to be released very soon, with little, to no Beta, since, in some aspects, Landmark is the Beta of EQ:N. They have already stated that Landmark will have NPCs, and will be fully interactive, just with none of the other classes available to EQ:N. Pretty much, it is a watered down version of EQ:N when it comes to story/gameplay, but is a fully formed sandbox with all the creative development tools available to the players. This doesn't mean you have access to everything, and every "block", so to speak, you still have to gather, harvest and make items before they can be available in your "studio" to create anything in Landmark.
I expect they will release before the end of the year, as they have stated. If they are smart, though, they will NOT do this close to the holidays, since their own crew will be on vacation, and they will have hundreds of thousands of players clogging up their servers.
They wont release it this year imo. Dave Georgeson wouldn't clarify past "winter" on twitter recently, which makes me think they don't expect to crank it out before February.

To be honest, I just want to start building stuff, just like I play Minecraft. I started Minecraft when it was in early beta with a lot of bugs, yet the game was still fun.

I voted "before March (end of winter) because over 17+ years of MMO gaming, I've learned to be careful with my expectations

My money is around Feb/March of next year.

Well, World of Warcraft (released Nov. 23, 2004) may strongly disagree with you.
