Once again, another player of SWG that took SOE's talent for granted. As hard as it is to focus on 30+ professions and the complaints of many, this person named Wepps thought that they could easily have handled even his whining @$$. Instead, SOE decided to make it a grander experience by piling all the different professions into 9 (excluding the beast tamers and bioengineers, boo hoo for them). This guy lost all of his gear...so what? I'm pretty sure that losing your "gear" is not the end of the world, especially not in an MMO. You're lucky just to have that respec, the way you go on about it. The developers did what they had to do to make it easier on themselves. What do you do that contributes to the game? You play it? That's not making it any easier for the developers.
Of course, having so many Jedi is a problem, but it's not like it's that big of a deal. Play a Jedi, or play a Commando. Either character has their advantages and disadvantages. Just like WoW. Play a warrior or a mage. It isn't that big of a deal. It's obvious you have no sense of empathy, the way you don't even try to state in your poem your understanding of the dilemma the developers got themselves into.
Play the game, or get the hell outta my Star Cruiser. Tears will not be shed for those masochistic veterans. Masochistic, meaning the way they punished themselves through a piss-poor game before SOE admitted their mistakes with the game.
Some people have all the imagination, while I have none.

I personally liked the creativity of the poem as far as making it. I have heard enough complaining though, and done a lot of it myself on the NGE of SWG. I don't like the changes and removing of all the professions. I understand somepeople like what they did, but I'm not one of them. This game is nothing like the one I bought over 2 years ago. I have cancled and won't even consider coming back unless there is a roll back or pre nge server made. They can take my Jedi if they want, I really don't care. I just want my old game back. I loved the first style of game, and could deal with the CU. It was basicly the same game, just combat was nerfed. There are things of the CU that I liked and would have prefered to see in the first style. Such as having damage being energy/kinetic and only affecting health.
But none of this really matters, the old game is gone and won't be back. For those of you that have and will stay enjoy the game till the end. Which is coming faster than you think. Don't subscribe past March till you know for sure is all I can advise you of. Laters
