What do you think? Warhammer Online?
Edit: I'm currently playing WoW, it's a good mix of raiding and PvP although the pvp is kind of shallow, nothing you do affects the world simply your characters status and appearance.

Yeah, Shadowbane 2 and Darkfall look like the best. Shadowbane 2 is just a name the MMO community has come up for whatever the MMO is that Wolfpack is working on at the moment (pretty likely that it is actually Shadowbane 2, but yesterday I checked the domain registration for shadowbane2.com, it was formerly owned by UBI and set to expire in November 2005, and as of a few days ago they had not renewed it)
Wow got great PvP but next will be Age of Conan, becaus the battle system is... difference then normal ''double-click slashing'' - or did i remember wrong?
after you said that WOW has great PVP your opinion on PVP games went down the drain so to speak...
Darkfall is what i am looking for atm, havent read anything about SB2, but i will.

Yeah, nothing is known about "Shadowbane 2" other than it is another MMO by Wolfpack, so presumably it is PvP oriented. At least I hope it is, if they gave into the carebears I won't be happy.

Don't forget, you can use the block function on trolls.
The only great PvP game that could come out is Shadowbane 2. No game has gotten pvp right like shadowbane, and no game currently in development (including darkfall) compares to what Shadowbane had.
But as Shadowbane 2 is only a rumor right now the best we have to hope for is darkfall.
But while it is an open pk game it just wasn't done right. If I remember correctly you get put into an evil alignment for killing too many players...this makes you KoS to NPC guards in cities and you can't buy/trade from NPCs.
No ARAC...that's great for the RP community, but seems like it might get boring to play the same race over and over.
First Person view only, unless in melee battle...FPV will help with combat, but I like to see my surroundings.
There are several other things that they don't have right (imo) which I won't go into....but unfortunately this is the only game publicly in development that pvpers have to look forward to
Warhammer will be the next great RvR game. And RvR is a step above PvP since it has real meaning and isn't just meaningless ganking. Assuming they get it right (never know with developers now days though) Warhammer will be a great game.
