Hi everyone. Well, I have played WoW for quite some time now, and I am bored with it (like alot of people here). I am a very big fan when it comes to FF games. I've played just about every one of them( I think
). I am getting FFXI for christmas and I have a couple of questions.
Are you allowed to choose your own server? Or does it randomly set one for you?
Are the controls as hard as everyone whines about?
What is the highest level you can reach?
Can someone explain Ballista? Im not to sure about it.

I dotn wann XI yet but i can answert soem of ur questions.
1. No, you are set one DSopme people delet their character and start over and over to get on the server they want BUT that doenst mean you can get on a certain server because some servers dont let people into them ALL the time or soemthing
But you can buy a world pass INGAME and go to anither server so ya.
2. Im not sure i guess you use the Number pad to Move .
3. Highest lvl us 75

Ballista is more like a sport rather than a PvP system (alot of ppl tell me it is addictive
). U score points for doing certain actions while fighting at the same time. It is very strategy based and SE has started doing inter-server tournaments.
