Actually there is very little different between Xbox and ps4. According to this site xbox actually looks better.

According to my eyes from watching that video clearly PS4 beats Xbox because the xbox version had more jagged edges and no HBAO. Nice try though. You should probably take those rose colored glasses off.

Why are you focused on the graphics so much. The game looks fine on all 3 of them. You should be much more concerned about the features the consoles bring than worrying about a piddly difference in graphics.
Well it's normal for your eyes to see what you want them to see. The professionals disagree with you and personally I'm not bias either way like clearly some are and I can't notice a difference either way. If I want graphics I play my PC .

This just in some people prefer consoles, they don't care how powerful some ones PC is.
I prefer PC my self and have a rig that is better than the consoles coming out but I will still be buying a PS4 for the exclusive and my TV gaming. I don't want or need to hook my PC up to my TV.

I think the point is not the grafics, but a medicore PC beating the next gen consoles even before they release. Think about the situation in 5 years,...7...9...
Most console players hoped for a jump in power, getting their console games at a better quality then current PCs and compareable quality a few years down the line. Whats the point in buying hardware for 400-500 bucks that is outdated before it even reaches my house? This is actually quite a serious topic as the hopes of competing with PCs got smashed before release.
After all is said and done it comes down to this:
Use a PC if you want serious gaming and great grafics
Use a console if you want to play while sitting on your couch.
MMOs finally replaced social interaction, forced grouping and standing in a line while talking to eachother.
Now we have forced soloing, forced questing and everyone is the hero, without ever having to talk to anyone else. The evolution of multiplayer is here! We won,... right?

And I posted a link that's says that most wont notice the difference. The link I posted actually gives Xbox the nod. Now feel free to post a link that shows all these multiplier games side by side cause there really is not a lot those right now. Xbox has more preorders for cod ghost and according to my link looks better but that is hard to notice.Again if I want graphics I sit at my PC. I play the xbox because my friends and family are on xbox live. For these post to claim ps4 blows Xbox away are a joke. Xbox does NOT blow ps4 either they look identical to 99% of those who will be playing.
That matches my understanding. Hasn't it been this way for many years now?
EDIT: Although I certainly don't want to be the one who tells a consoler that they're not a serious gamer. I've known more than a few who take their gaming very seriously.
Um, I don't know about you, but I have an elevated couch in front of my computer desk.
Also consoles are good for console only exclusives which is the main reason I get consoles.
Another reason consoles are good is for when I invite friends and etc and when we want to play video games it's much more convenient.

Yeah, I definitely don't think he was criticizing playstation fans for being defensive so much as anyone who gets defensive over criticism against their preferred console, be it xbox, playstation, or atari. It's irrational defensiveness that is the issue, not the supporting of either console.
Trying to attribute a negative quality uniformly across an entire community is obviously fallacious. There's no need to keep thinking in blanket "us" and "them" terms.

trollolol. You do realize you could never expect a console to compete with a dual card PC. And a year ago? These consoles aren't upgraded every year like PC gamers do, they are one time payments for the next 6 years.
Any sort of comparison between the two is simply invalid if you don't adjust for cost.
Again defensive, attacking and now name calling? Not sure how or why some get so worked up of things like a video game console. Does it affect you if I or one of those "xbots" as you call them chooses to buy an xbox one instead of a ps4? There are post that claim xbox is better there are post that say ps4 is better. I just posted one that said xbox looked a little better didn't mean to get some all worked up. It's ok we all get to make our own choice neither is right or wrong.

Optimizing PC games for consoles is kinda like outfitting your car for a bike trail.
Dollar for dollar a console wins over a PC and is a great system for the money. A $400 PS4 will kick a $400 PC's ass. I mean how can you argue with a whole gaming system for the price of a mid range video card and the graphics are pretty sweet for that $400
Now when it comes to performance
I build all my own rigs, I've got a home network of 4 computer's just for myself, I'm heavy into flight simulation. My main rig is worth over $6000 and is dedicated to simulation. If you want to talk graphics and frame rate this machine will blow you away and the simulation software can bring it to it's knees. My next system set me back about $1500 and I play all my other games with it. It will play all the latest and greatest titles just as good as the $6000 rig as long as were using a single monitor, Multimonitor is a different story. The other two rigs are $1000 server's that run app's for the simulator.
On a technical and performance standpoint, a console cant even compete with what a PC is capable of period, end of story.
