Yeah I couldnt even be lvl 2 because
-In every 10 min its giving DnL.exe error
-Low lvl creatures is very hard to find
-when I started to run nearest creature spawn area game it takes me 5 minute to run there and the game gives DnL.exe error again
-Nobody helps each other in game
-No hunting groups or grinding groups
The game is about running and running everywhere
SO HOW SHOULD I LIKE THIS GAME!?!?!?!?

of course theres the occasional dnlg.exe error which is mostly the only and main problem atm.

Game is crashing not me. So It doesnt mean Im very bad at this game so you fat single guys who still lives with your parents go away and have a normal life. Game is game. It doesnt matter to be lvl 10 or 50. Im playing this game for fun and I willl continue to play.
I agree totally with the original poster, I have a free SoG account and I get the dnlg error, or can not find one mob to level up on. Tonight I get the server is full error, so it is getting very annoying since I really want to try out this game.

I decided to start leveling an alternate character to see how bad the issues were on newbie island. I kid you not I hit level 9 within 32 minutes.
Now that's with me knowing what to do the second time around, but all the lag issues that people seem to cry about are rather funny. If you're crashing I feel for you my level 29 crashes everytime since I bugged him out on fort building. But this game is still great fun and many (read: not all) are having lag issue simply because their computers are out date on either Ram, cpu or video card wise (normally the first 2).

Yeah because we know it's not the game causing the problems right? Look around the forums a bit. There are quite a few people with high end PCs are having problems. You are just as bad as NPCube pointing the finger at player rigs. Instead of where the real problem is, and that's with SOG itself. (This includes the server)

When I can play EQ2 on very high settings without a problem with my pc, don't you think i would be able to do the same with this game? I go to log in again today and game is down til thusday (this is how they spelled thursday) lol. I have been in many betas, and this one right now is worse then shadowbane and Horizons beta, at least I could play those.
Not onto's fault if he couldn't level as said above.
Reason for some of the responses is probably the title of the thread which could be taken as provocative by some folks. Maybe server woes might have been a better title.
Doesn't warrant some of the replies though.
When I was able to play I found that leveling wasn't hard. What I did notice that there was no 'insta-death' at an equivalent level. In fact things need to be many levels below you before you 'wipe the floor' with superior fire power. This bodes well for the PvP aspect of the game imo (which has already started).
Overall the game has a nice 'sword & sorcery' feel to it with lots of good features.
Line of sight seems excellent. Not only have I found no problems but things in depressions get the advantage of the depression; tree in the way you cannot cast or shoot but move so you are only half protected / hidden and you can. Some spells have parabolic casting arcs - fireballs for example. Collision detection is a feature. Darkness; on a dark, dark night with a full, full moon - forests have patches of moonlight where they are open to the sky and areas of darkness. I can see this being fun. Those trees are excellent as well - a consequence of having a third party specialist do it for them.
End of the good stuff. There are issues getting into the game at the moment. Hopefully this will be sorted dwhen the server comes back up.

Yes, the game is about running, WHAT did you think "the largest morpg ever seen" emplys? Mobs and towns every 15 meters?
So how can you like this game? You cant! You obviusly cant figure out how to find newbie are and click "attack" while watching them die nor sit and watch your character run as you explore.

I could be lvl 9 in 32 min if I had a dragon and know where is the low lvl mobs. But when I open the game there isnt any mob everybody looks for spawning low lvl mobs and when they find 1, 30 people try to kill it and I even cant kill 1 of them.

man you are stupid. Thats why alot of people in mmorpg games just think to grind!!! I think when you started to game you ran to nearest mob and kill it to get xp. Your main aim is be the best in that game!!!! because you are a looser in real life and you can just proud of yourself only in game life!!! Most mmorpg games haves players like YOU! only think theirself and try to do nothing about other people. I played alot of mmorpg and I always helped newbies. Because alot of great people helped me while I was newbie. So its like a chain. YOU HELP PEOPLE AND THEY HELP WHEN YOU NEED!!!! thats all I can say to you

I am confused by your post...hence the thread since you started it. First post you complain that you can only make it to lvl 2 and complain about the game. Then on your next post you do a 180 and you now say that it doesnt matter what lvl you are and that the game is fun and you will continue to play it?? So you asked the question "So how should I like this game!?!?!?!?!?" why dont you try figuring out how you really feel first. You went from attacking the game to attacking relationship challenged obese males who have yet to find shelter outside of their parent domocile.
If you are playing the game for fun and will continue to play it, relax and realise that things will probably smooth out to a degree here in the future. Prozac FTW.

Yeah I play it for fun. Otherwise why should I play it?!? Think about it how many people are forced to play a game? everybody plays it for fun but some of them who are selfish plays it to become the BEST! in the game and they hate other players who are especially newbies. And I say dont be selfish! help people and they will help you when you need help. Being the best doesnt mean only power! it means being helpful and wisse.
